Biography
Reverend Cynthia Ridgeway-Gerald serves as an Associate Minister at Murph-Emmanuel A.M.E. Church in North Highlands, California. She experienced a spiritual rebirth and answered the call to ministry in 2013. She received her license to preach from Presiding Elder Cedric V. Alexander in 2014 and was ordained a Local Deacon in 2016.
She is deeply devoted to the vision of ministry and has a heartfelt passion for ministering to the elderly. Reverend Gerald also enjoys singing in the choir, serving as a prayer warrior, and helping others through faithful service. She is a member of the African Methodist Episcopal Church 5th Episcopal District Bishop Sarah Frances-Davis Covenant Keepers and Intercessors Prayer Team.
She is married to Reverend Henry Gerald, and together they have two children and six grandchildren. She enjoys traveling, cooking, entertaining family and friends, and her hobbies include quilting, making jelly, canning fruits and vegetables, and writing. She is also a published author.
