Biography
Rev. Teri D. McClanahan, MA, CLC, is an ordained minister in the African Methodist Episcopal Church who is deeply committed to walking in God’s will. She is passionate about uplifting communities, advancing equitable access to services, and serving as a faithful steward of God’s love.
She brings more than 30 years of experience in nonprofit and public-sector leadership, with work spanning healthcare, education, and community development. She has served in executive and consulting roles with organizations including Marshall Medical Center, The Salvation Army, and Community Action Partnership, contributing expertise in strategic planning, grant development, program design, and organizational growth. She holds master’s degrees in psychology and theology.
In 2022, she published a powerful account of her cancer journey, offering hope to individuals facing life-altering challenges. A survivor of cancer and a near-fatal car accident, Rev. McClanahan considers herself a living testimony to the grace and mercy of God.
